Tour

Bethesda Home is a 12 acre (plus 7.5 undeveloped acres South of Main Street) retirement care community nestled in a small rural town of Goessel, Kansas (population 525) located within easy commuting distance of Newton, McPherson, Hillsboro, Hesston, Wichita and other communities in the area.  Bethesda residents have come from across Kansas and other states for our services.

Bethesda offers a full continuum of care including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Care, Rehab to Home Care, and a secure Special Care Unit to care for those with all stages of dementia.

Our main facility offers 57 Medicare / Medicaid certified nursing care beds in four separate neighborhoods staffed by consistent care givers.  Our consistent care givers provide residents and their family members with the comfort and reassurance of knowing that each staff person knows the resident well and cares for them as though they were their own family member.  Services provided at Bethesda include: skilled care, physical therapy and access to the various professional services listed on the Services page, and a wide variety of daily activities.

All neighborhoods are able to provide care for individuals recovering from recent hospitalization and need rehabilitation therapy.

Each neighborhood has their own living room area, dining and kitchen area, and outdoor patio or courtyard.  All neighborhoods have access to a beautiful butterfly garden. All of the main nursing care neighborhoods have been renovated recently.

The Special Care Unit (Heritage Neighborhood) is a secure unit that is home to 12 private resident rooms, a living room, dining room and kitchen area plus a secure courtyard.
